God knew I had a soul still and glad I picked up the whole series to read. After it was fully published. I’m getting nostalgia from other teams in RR Presents Universe. But it also gives me comfort as a person raised in an immigrant household but also in the adoption process. Will never drop a good read.

Wow! I am consistently left speechless after finishing books published by Rick Riordan Presents. Graci Kim does a fantastic job of introducing Korean mythology to readers. I felt so many different things throughout this book that I’m almost a little dizzy. I was not able to guess ANY of the plot twists which made for an interesting ride. Obviously I give this book 5 stars. I would give it more if possible. Highly recommended to readers of all ages!!

This story was AMAZING. It's centered around Korean mythology, AND was edited by Rick Riordan?? This book seriously fits in with my reading style.

There is just something about a Rick Riordan Presents book that is so magical and transportive. I am truly a sucker for urban fantasy, and Graci Kim does an excellent job of blending Korean mythology into the modern world. Not only does Graci serve us with an amazing magic system, but our main character's internal growth and friendships make this story extra special. I am obsessed with this book and I already cannot wait for more to come.

Also, I would like to send my thanks to Disney-Hyperion, Rick Riordan Presents and Netgalley for sending me this e-ARC to review!

This follows in the Riordan youth-as-demigods pattern. This time with Korean mythology. Very well done.
