’m glad I read on after the first book- this one was excellent. I was excited to get back to reading and there was a lot of action and romance. I love Jacks more now that I’ve seen more sides to him. I think I liked it better because Evangeline seemed more confident and there was less wushu-washy with her step sister. I can’t wait for the third book now.

i am unwell…like reading most of this was just me going “wow, this is intense” and the ending came out of nowhere and i am in pain

THE ENDING?!
A lot of the plot was quite repetitive though and it just got a bit too much for me since every scene it seemed as if Jacks pretended not to feel anything, Eva got hurt, then Jacks showed how he ‘really felt’ again & again.
