It seems I rate books by how much I temmeber liking them. I remmeber barely anything from this one so I'm not getting that good of an impression sadly.
This book is about the marriage of a young girl(just turned 18) and an older man in his 30s I think. As they are both somehow involved in the mafia, her being the daughter of a mafia boss (not a strong one) and him an underdog of one, their marriages aren't up to them but for the benefits of others. They get married on the day she turns 18 and so their marriage begins.
I remember being bored of the man in the relationship but lpving the girl. She was so strong and was always the one who pushed towards communication with each other. (Which I find kinda ironic since their age was made such a big deal but he was less...involved in forming a bond)
Anyway, the book is for if youre looking for something light to read. The mafia part isn't a nuisance so it's pretty much how their relationship forms. The 3rd act is pretty much where the mafia stuff gets involved.
