I loved this story. Artie and Pen end up stranded together after 5 years apart. She’s got a secret that’s going to implode their lives. This was a shorter story, but it was filled with so much pain and hope. I loved seeing them both decide not to make the same mistakes again. This was a story I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to read more of this family.

This was a great holiday read, it was really sweet romantic loving and definitely swoon worthy! Penelope and Artemis were so cute and honestly, they were great together young love and with that a second chance romance. I really enjoyed the writing in this book and I loved reading it. I was kept hooked on the story and I read it in one sitting. I really enjoyed reading it!

A beautiful story that makes one guess at what would happen. Artie & Penelope with little max was just a touching story. Totally loved it, couldn't put the book down at all.

2.5⭐️ Personally wasn’t a fan of the lying, miscommunication, and snap judgements. They didn’t actually resolve anything, they just quit talking about it and decided to move forward. It started off decent but I just got a bad taste in my mouth about it.

I hate writing bad reviews but eeeeek.

Holiday Second chance romance

Penelope, her mother and her son Max find themselves stranded in a small airport. It’s Christmas Eve and it’s not looking like they will make it home. Soon they find out they are not the only ones stranded because hotshot lawyer Artemis Warren is also stranded.

The catch? Artemis is Max’s father and he doesn’t know it.

The story is littered with miscommunication, both in the past and in present, and Pen and Art keep getting their wires crossed. But it’s sweet at the same time, they just keep messing up.

Adorable story with a holiday-worthy ending

Okay short read

It was a cute enough story and great if looking for a quick short read, but it didn't wow me unfortunately.

I went into reading this story with the expectation that it would be a second chance romance and I was not disappointed.

I really liked the backstory and character development. It was easy to put myself in both character's shoes and feel what they were feeling. It also made it easier to understand the whole secret baby aspect.

As much as I loved the characters and the storyline, it still felt a bit predictable.
