This was a fun, slow burn read. Graham annoyed me so much the first half, and a little the second half, but he grew on me. I just love Zoey and her enthusiasm for life. For a closed door romance, it still brought the steam!

This is definitely a slow burn kind of book. The writing was fine, but the constant flips from being happily smitten to angry were jarring and not always warranted. The perspective shifts were a bit clunky at times, but I did enjoy the overall story. This was a very lifetime/hallmark-esque adventure, safe for those who might be turned off by overly spicy scenes.

A cute & pretty wholesome romance about a sweet but nerdy tourist falling in love with the handsome grouch who runs the diner in an Alaskan tourist town.
Utterly predictable but just right for a happy escape. First in a series about romance in this town.
