Tried to give the virgin trope another chance, still hate it.

The argument and reason for their third act breakup was kind of ridiculous. I understand Freya was insecure but she acted like a petulant child when Mac wanted to leave. Although, the lack of communication on both sides was rough

Otherwise, everything else was perfect. These two have my heart and their friends to lovers storyline made me swoon

Overall the book was very entertaining. Mac and Freya were the absolute cutest couple and I loved the banter between the two of them. It’s a 3.25 for me because although it was entertaining, I felt that the self deprecating monologues were a bit much sometimes.

Honestly, I was hoping it would improve but I should have DNF’ed at the 10% mark…

I was really blindsided by this on!

So I just finished Blindsided by Amy Daws and it had me on a roller coast ride of emotions. I thought this was going to be a fun loving light read. However, she was like naw let me make you laugh for a while and give you some real life sh$t! This made the book even better even though it wasn’t what I thought I wanted. I really enjoyed this book and I just couldn’t put it down.
Freya and Mac had me laughing so hard at how they acted with each other. Then they took me on a sad ride through reality town. But it’s worth for the ending.
I give this book 5 stars because I thought I wanted something different but I got what I needed!
I highly recommend this book. It’s a spin off to a series but you don’t need to read those to enjoy this book. I haven’t read the other series but have it on my TbR list. This is a curvy girl romance for those that are looking for one.
