From start to finish this was a lot of fun. I loved it! A collection of short stories from a well know universe - jawas, rebels, the stormtrooper that hits his head on the door.

This book is basically one of my favorite ever things. "Missing scene" fic is one of my absolute favorite ways of exploring new facets of stories I know and love, Star Wars is of course my OG fandom, and this was just an absolute delight. Some of the stories hit better than others, but I just loved the compilation telling the entirety of A New Hope all from different characters' perspectives. I'm not sure if I'll take the time to read the sequels, but I am delighted that I finally sat down to read this one.

A very satisfying read. some stories were a little meh admittedly but the good ones definitely make up for those ones! I would say all things considered the beginning and end are the strongest parts. With some decent stuff in the middle. Top 5 stories would be.

This book is fantastic! I loved all the different views of episode IV. Some made me laugh, some made me cry. So so good!

It was a very fun anthology-style retelling of A New Hope. Some stories were better than others, and I think there were a couple missed opportunities here and there, but it was an overall enjoyable reading experience

I’d like to thank the Barnes and noble employee who went on a rant about this book to me when I was trying to checkout. If it weren’t for her I probably wouldn’t have picked this book up.

This was so great!! I like so many of the writers and enjoyed their contributions. It's neat to see so many threads drawn together. Maybe the last quarter of stories had me crying.

I went straight for the YA author’s stories and really enjoyed this collection. My favorites are The Red One and Master and Apprentice with honorable mentions There is Another and Beru Whitesun Lars. If you love Star Wars, there is no question you will enjoy this volume.
