Wowie! This is one of those books that makes you say “This! If only I could get everyone in the world to read this one book, it would fix at least one of the things that’s horribly wrong with society!”
The authors argument is so lucid and well made and the writing style is compulsively readable. Despite the heavy subject matter, I was pulled along in a fraction of the time I usually take to digest non-fiction. An intelligent, timely, and deeply compassionate read. Five stars. Would recommend to everyone.

This book was both informative and inspiring. It was a quick read in the sense that I did not want to put it down, but I also took my time because each sentence felt important and full of carefully crafted insight. There were many times I shut the book just to absorb and then pump my fist in agreement.
Doyle’s ability to combine thorough research and well-thought out philosophy to modern examples pulls the reader in immediately. Doyle presents as an authority not because some degree demands it, but because her words and logic say it is so.
I initially borrowed a copy from the library, but have since ordered my own personal copy to be able to mark it up, and use it as a reference.
In a book all about letting go of the standard, Doyle manages to create a whole new one for the modern day feminist.

molto interessante, anche se mi è piaciuto di meno rispetto a "Il mostruoso femminile", l'ho trovato a tratti un po' disordinato
