✨ "Robbery, mayhem, notoriety... What else could a girl want?"

When Poison Ivy appears: You had my curiosity
When Harley Quinn appears: But now you have my attention

The feminist retelling I have been waiting for! Three of DC's greatest icons in one book? Yes please! There was never a dull moment and I loved all the characters. I have mixed feelings about the artwork though - it's dark and gritty, which is fitting for Gotham and its morally grey characters, but also hard to read at times. An exciting and enjoyable read overall!

I don't know why I had more difficulties to get into this graphic novels than the others, but I felt like this one would have been less confusing from time to time if I had read the book that this graphic novel is based on.

But I still enjoyed it and once again I'm going to say that I wish there were more to follow because I feel they could easily do a few others, but I don't believe it's going to happen.

I really enjoyed this version of Sarah J Maas's take on Catwoman. I don't think it was as good as the actual novel which I LOVED, but it was a fun read and I really liked the illustrations. Really recommend it if you liked the novel!

This is very much a direct adaptation of the book of the same time, but this time in graphic novel format. Therefore if you enjoyed the book you will most likely enjoy this. If you haven’t read the book, there may be some things that feel less fully explained or it may be harder to get the gist plot wise, but it’s still an enjoyable story.

The emotional beats definitely hit harder in the book rather than the graphic novel, for example Selina’s relationship with her sister, Luke’s PTSD etc.

I love the colour palette in this novel - the dark purples and grayscale is really nice. It’s also dual perspective so Selina’s parts have purple thought bubbles and Luke’s have blue. It’s pretty long (just under 200 pages) and there’s a lot art packed in there, so definitely good value for money.

It does speed through the story quite quickly (the book is much longer) so some bits you do miss out on or get less detail with, this particularly feels true for the fight sequences eg. The fight with tigress that goes by a lot quicker and has less tension built too.

Overall, the story is compelling but as I say it is a direct adaptation from the book, so you won’t find anything new here. Overall I enjoyed it, and I love all these DC characters so I’m definitely glad I picked it up.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel. I liked seeing this graphic novel version of the book. It was a fun read.

This follows Selina Kyle as she is trying to gain money to help her sister. She is part of a gang and she ends up having to leave for two years to not go to jail for what she has done. She comes back to Gotham. She was a thief at night and a socialite by day. She get the attention of Luke Fox.

It was a fun read. It was great to see the story in a graphic novel form. It was a great to see Selina do all that happens.

The story is great and the characters were great.

I am glad to read this graphic novel.

This has the exact same plot as the novel, which I still absolutely love, but I just don't get as much emotion when reading graphic novels so it wasn't quite as good for me. I really enjoyed the art style though and would recommend it.
