I was a bit disappointed with the ending to this chapter in Gideon and Eva's story. No real omg what's going to happen now but still enjoyable and still can't wait for the next instalment. It was a bit slow till about 60% the way through and then a few things happened but I think maybe I was expecting more because I'd waited so long for the book to come out. Not bad though.

This book was my least favorite so far of this series. The first 6 or so chapters were all recap incase someone was reading it as a stand alone. The recap seemed to drag on way too long. Then the story dragged on. Not much happened in the first 2/3 of the book. It wasn't until about the last 100 pages that it became interesting. This book took me longer than the previous two combined. I am hoping that this book was a one off and that when Sylvia was setting up her outline for Crossfire she just felt that having one mostly uneventful book would be the sacrifice in order to have better content for the other four books. I am pretty happy with the overall relationship and character development so far in this series. I did not predict that Eva and Gideon were going to be married in this book so that was an interesting surprise.

I love following their relationship and see them both heal and become more open with each other. Their relationship just makes sense to me. Mad with her mom and I don’t like all the talk about having babies but hopefully this series will be one of my favorites because it’s so easily read and enjoyable!

Didn't seem as dramatic as the others once I got to the end, maybe because it focuses more on the romance and their relationship? Of course there is always drama, but sex tapes and ruined careers? Nothing compared to facing your worst nightmares... Not that Eva came face to face with Nathan, but close I guess. A lot of the minor characters in these books are twats.

Lettura molto veloce, perché ci sono trooooooppe scene di sesso ripetitive e del tutto inutili. Pochi eventi e spiegati frettolosamente, senza nessuna emozione neanche nei momenti più importanti. Peccato.
