I found this book in my recent move; I have no recollection of purchasing it, and neither does my Amazon account... But it's short, so I read it anyway. If your sole purpose in life is to marry a rich man (or partner, as book says it works both ways), perhaps this book is brilliant. My purpose differs greatly, so I found some of the advice creepy (search for attorneys, doctors, etc in the yellow pages, crosscheck in the white pages to get their personal information, then call, posing as a telemarketer to find out if a wife lives there; if not, stalk until you can introduce yourself!), some insulting (rich men don't want to hear "no" in the bedroom, and as a potential wife you shouldn't say it), some amusing (your engagement ring isn't big enough*, and probably not the right cut), but entirely fascinating.
While I don't disagree that marrying "rich" can be a good thing, in my mind that simply means avoiding the broke junkie/loser or troublemaker. Nothing good comes of that. I won't be giving this book to my daughter, but I will donate it to a Goodwill nearby...

*For the record, I don't have an engagement ring. I'm not engaged, rich man or not.
