I was not prepared to forgive Astaroth when I picked up this book, but the amazing way with which his redemption was handled made me love it just as much (if not more) than A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon.

I appreciated how strong and unapologetically herself Calladia is allowed to be in this book. There has been a really great trend in romance lately of embracing women's bodies in any and every form they come in and I love to see that this has extended to strong women as well. The way that this book (and the previous) focuses on the characters building the strength they need to stand up for themselves is brilliant because it intertwines so well with the narrative while not coming off as beating the reader over the head with a message of "love yourself".

Also, the reference to AO3 got me. I definitely laughed, this author knows her audience.

The way Sarah Hawley writes these books is honestly healing for me and I can't wait for book three!

I really liked the first book but I fucking loved this one, it was funny and the romance is amazing I much prefer calladia and astaroths relationship to mariel and ozs (still love them tho). The Taylor swift references top notch and lillith really an icon in this one. But it also deals with some really heavy stuff and just calladia deserves the worled really. I cannot wait for the next book.

Recently read Glimmer Falls #1, and I wasn't sure how fast I'd pick up the next book, but then the title just drew me in. And I'm glad I did!

This was such a great read! Entertaining, funny, suspenseful, and spicy!
Sign me up for Team Astaroth, is there anything better than being seduced by a charming and adventurous British-sounding guy? Don't think so.
This one had me chuckling, grinning, and also laughing out loud once or twice. I liked the pairing between a grumpy witch + amnesiac demon a lot and prefer it to Oz/Mariel from the first book but that's probably just because some of Calladia's issues were easier to relate to for me. The pacing was good, the writing pulls you in, and the world-building/ magic system is engaging.

Recommended if you want a feel-good spicy book and enjoy a supportive villain^^

I think the fact that I finished this book so quickly is a testament to how much I enjoyed it. I really loved this book! I wasn't sure if I would like following Astaroth and Calladia but I really liked them! I liked the twists and reveals, the way their relationship developed. I would have liked the friends being in it a bit more but hoping we get scenes with everyone in the next one 😊

Definitely recommend for friends who enjoy speculative romance!

A fun, quick read and a decent sequel. Did I (like a child) audibley say "blech" throughout? You betcha. SUCH a cheesy read. There were many times I forgot I was reading a published book and not a fanfiction, such was the cheesiness. Don't get me wrong, I love fanfiction, I'm just not usually looking for that vibe outside of it.

I loved the variety of creatures and how they interacted with each other, very fun!
