The story of Riko and Reg continues as they decide to go to the bottom of the abyss. Riko goes to find her mother. Reg goes to discover why he was created and why he can't remember. I worried a bit when they meet an old friend of her mother's.

it's like a kid's show but not for kids. i do like the gruesome thingy, the plot. watched the anime first so i'm thankful that the prod team censor some skittish parts but anyway i enjoyed it. i'm still engrossed to what's the 8th layer is like, the bottom, i mean.

The first volume was definitely slower, but I think that was just to set up the story. It all licked up speed here tho, and even though it was a still pretty slow it was definitely more enjoyable. Also more dark themes finally came into play, which is what I've been waiting for.

The journey continues, we encounter some new characters, and it seems that perhaps I'm getting a taste of some of the twistedness that's to be expected, but this one concluded in a way that keeps me "hopeful" and interested in seeing what's to come for Riko and Reg.
