Amazing series

I’m so heartbroken this series is over! What a wonder whimsical whirlwind! I absolutely adored all of the characters! The story and plot kept me flipping pages rabidly! I had to force myself to slow down on this book simply because I did not want it to end. Yet another stellar installment from Kova.

Cvareh and Arianna will forever have my heart.

“He hadn’t chosen to love her. He simply did. It had become as undeniable to him as winter’s chill and as warming to his soul as summer’s sun. Trying to do anything but love her would be like trying to halt the seasons: pointless and impossible.”

!!!!! I finally finished The Loom Saga !!!!!
I loved Elise Kova's writing : Air Awakens is on my top five of favorite fantasy series ! so I was really excited to read this one as well ...

First book : I had a really hard time getting into it. I am not a fan os Steampunk so you can understand my struggles w/ this series... + the character description, house dragons, DRAGONS... all of it was complex and confusing.

Second book : I found it slow going and still had some issues with the plot, I almost DNF it at some point, but kept going because I hate not finishing a book haha

Third book : WOW ! My objective was to read it during the week end and bam done ! this baby was full with action, plot twists and change in situation. Really good ! I found the length of the book necessary to introduce all the changes, to discover who people truly are, what they will do to overthrow the current reign, who's behind who's action ...

All in all : I am glad I got the chance to read this series and to have finished it ! Still a huge fan of Elise Kova's work and now I need to focus on her upcoming new one The Wish Quartet !

If you love Steampunk, fantasy and blue book boyfriend : this one is for you <3

The reveals regarding Arianna keep on coming and the more they come, the more disengaged I get from the character and attention goes more to Florence who feels the more fleshed out character of the two in this book and Flos is satisfyingly steampunky and that I loved.
The relationship Ari and Flo may or may not have had in the past irritated as I do not think that sexual  teacher student relationships are ever okay.
With the continued body harvesting a Frankensteinian element came into the story that raised some interesting questions, however, remained unresolved within the story.

A great end to a great series. There were some minor details that I was disappointed by, but overall I really enjoyed it.
