The edition I actually read was published by Phoenix, in a series of mini classics, so I don't know if it had all the same poems as this edition.
There were some poems/parts of poems that I really liked - some bits were humorous, or beautiful images. Some of it, however, failed to grab my attention and I found oddly annoying - especially the heavy references to mythology where I couldn't quite understand the point of it. Those bits struck me as heavy-handed and showy, and brought my opinion down.

Unfortunate that he died before finishing it.
The middle third was my favourite.

Hilariously well-done. It's a shame Lord Byron died before he completed it. It's evident that the first half is stronger than the second half, but the second half is still enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed bouncing between poetical rhetoric via Byron interspersed between the retelling of Don Juan. Some of the ridiculous rhymes made me genuinely lol, and the verging on sublime made me take it more seriously given how self-aware it was, poking fun at everyone within reach, (and still at some who were not). It's as though Casanova heard about Don Juan and went, "Yup, that's the life for me."
