I didn’t really like it, mostly because of its desperate housewives energy. Everyone being so keen on gossiping and backstabbing and there wasn’t an interesting plot at all. Even though it was well written and reading about the description of the lifestyle of the rich and famous was quite interesting, I found the book to be pretty boring, nothing special to be honest.

An ARC that I picked up from work, thought it was going to be a typical chick-litesque book and found that despite the campy title and dust jacket design to be anything but that. A very satiric look and comedy of manners in the manner of Evelyn Waugh of the upper-upper echelons of the classes in modern-day Notting Hill.

Couldn't finish it. I was looking for a light read and I found it very bland and boring.
