0.5/5 🌶️ Barely any steam. Only one spicy scene and it was lackluster.

Barely anything l happened in this book. This was more like the first half of a book not a first book and it was pretty boring. The characters didn’t feel very complex. We don’t actually know much about Bailey’s past, we really only get tiny bits and pieces of the abuse that she suffered. Derek is not the powerful, dominant dangerous Alpha I expected. He’s supposedly the strongest in his pack, yet he’s kind of weak compared to the Alphas in other wolf tropes I’ve read. It’s a bit disappointing. Part of me is curious to find out what happened. The other part of me really doesn’t give a flying fuck so I’m not sure if I’m reading the next book or not.

Y to the A to the S and omg it was so good. Everything it just felt so natural, although I'm not happy with the ending but as long as she is fine I'm not going to be mad lol.

Legit don't know what to say now. I freaking loved the banter and how both of them saw each other as equals rather then him trying to make her submit to him, I really liked that. And that, there was mutual trust. And the spice y'all, it wasn't that much honestly but considering the whole plot if there was more of it, it would be just off.

Other than that cannot wait to read the next book.

This isn't one of those books that dumps a lot of information. Everything you read & told has a reason! The character & world building in here are pretty good too! I did find the book a little predictable but I did NOT see the ending to be the way it was! So that was a nice twist & cliffhanger! The pacing was also pretty good! Over all it was a pretty good book! If you like Jaymin Eve, Kelly St. Clare, or Leia Stone then this book is just for you!
