Have I ever mentioned before I'm a sucker for love-hate love stories and emotional nights? Have I ever mentioned before I am utterly in love with Despina?

I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I need more. I need to read TRaTD again. I need Jalal. I need Despina. I need more.

Je suis contente de savoir comment Jalal et Despina se sont rencontrés ! J’en aurais pris plus et ça m’a donné envie qu’ils soient davantage présents dans la série principale.

This novella about Despina and Jalal was way too short to my liking. I really like those two characters, and I really, really like their relationship :3

Loved this insight into Despina and how it all started between her and Jalal.

I love Despina and Jalal. I can't wait to read what happens with them in the Rose and the dagger

I love these characters and would have given it 5 stars if it had been a full length novel.

The Moth and the Flame is a short novella that shows how Despina (the handmaiden of the queen) and Jalal Al-Khoury (Captain of the Royal Guard) meet, how they fall in love and how they got to where they were in the Wrath and the Dawn.

I love everything about this world, I just love it. It's so beautiful, the setting was described thoroughly well in the writing, the writing itself was beautiful! The characters and their teasing, the way it was structured and the way it transitioned from one thing to another...it was astonishing.

I'm grateful for these novellas but they're teasing me too much. I want the Rose and the Dagger right now!
