I wasn’t expecting to like this book but it was okay. Very quick and 🌶. I don’t know how I feel about monster smut, not really my thing but I enjoyed it enough.

I never thought that being a die-hard (albeit new) fan of monster romance would lead me to read a short retelling novel in which the beast has never been and never will be a human prince. Most of all, that I'd like it... I found the idea of this retelling interesting but found both the plot and the relationship between the characters short and rushed. If it had been +100 pages longer, it would have fixed those problems but you also have to take into account that it is a short novel.
