This book had clean language, one love scene with no description, and talked about different kinds of loves, which I felt made it a bit confusing and took some of the enjoyment out of the story.

There is nothing empowering about taking away the Heroine’s magic and making her ‘normal’. This is what Leigh Bardugo did in the Grisha trilogy and I hated it then. It literally takes away the entire character arc.

It was bit of a let down towards the end. But still a good story.

Disappointing ending. The first two built up to something different  and it feels like this was just thrown in at the end.

How is it possible to eliminate all character development of two books in just one. I hate this ending, HATE. I wish the trilogy would have ended in the second book instead of destroying my fellings in this one.

hm. a little disappointing
changing my review 5 seconds after writing it: very much a missed opportunity for what the entire series was building up to
