Honestly I don't know where to begin…

When I read the first book 'Beats of the heart' (which you definitely need to read before this, to get the full understanding). I was gobsmacked and didn't think the second book would beat it. But my god has it! Charli B. Rose has literally smashed it out of the park! I'm in awe at how good this writer is. Both these book are just amazing and are definitely in my top 5 favourite romance books.

In this book we finally found out what kept Dawson and Izzy apart. I can't believe it was just some silly mistake, which led to massive consequences. Dawson should have tried harder! But in a way, I understood where he was coming from. We also met Izzy's new love interest Beckett! Nice guy but he's not Dawson is he! And we want Dawson and Izzy together! They belong together!!

It was so lovely to hear about Dawson and Izzy’s childhood and growing up together. I'm so excited to see where the third book in the series will go, as I need more! More of them together and too know the outcome! There was so many emotions that I felt whilst reading this book and I don’t get that often!

I'm so happy I stumbled across you! And I cannot wait for your future books! I just want them all now!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I want to hate this book because I feel heartbroken for both Izzy and Dawson, but I just can't hate it. I absolutely loved the flashbacks and seeing their beginning. I hate that it ends on a cliffhanger. I need them back together!

Notes Of The Heart is another incredible read! This is the second book in this series. You need to read Beats of the Heart in order to get the full experience and impact of this story.

In this book, we finally discover what kept Dawson and Izzy apart. I have to say, it wasn’t what I was expecting! I can't believe it was just some silly mistake and misunderstanding which snowballed into massive consequences. I found myself quite irritated and annoyed by Dawson in this story which utterly surprised me. I was shocked by his lack of faith and trust in Izzy and I feel he gave up too easily and should have tried a lot harder.

Though this book took an unique turn which was based mostly on past experiences and flashbacks, I felt it was necessary to really cement the bond Dawson and Izzy have. I loved the build-up to this story. Each chapter is in the POV of Izzy and Dawson. The flashbacks of their memories established a connection and understanding of their love. I absolutely adored the letters Izzy and Dawson sent to each other beginning as six year olds was so heartwarming and beautiful. I found myself completely emotional at their innocence of youth and young love. They were best friends, then lovers, finally to unexpected heartbreak and devastation. This story is filled to the brim with love, hurt, heartache, loss, past memories, and the possibility of second chances.

This book left me wondering and hopeful. It is a fantastic read and I will continue to read anything Charli B. Rose writes. Her words are pure art and she deserves every acknowledgment and praise for this wonderful creation.
