I loved this book from beginning to end. So much emotion from the way they met; to them actually meeting and falling in love and spending time together, to her having so much fear to them breaking up and finally getting back together again.

I loved everything about this book. I loved how they first became friends and how they wrote letters to eachother. I also liked how they were starting to like eachother without having met in real life. My favorite part would be when they finally fell in love.

I didn’t like when they were apart and broke up because of her fears weighing her down. Even though he would do anything for the woman he loves, it still sat heavy inside her. Luca was so scared and it made me feel for her that she was afraid of loving Griffin. All these thoughts as to how things would work between them knowing that she won’t be able to be there for him because of her fears.

Regardless, she pushed through her fears after realizing she would die for him, and he would die for her. I liked how he came back without having read her letter and she asks him to take her back.

I especially liked how they got married and how they had a child together.

What broke me was when Griffin said that there was no woman and that she was a figment of his imagination, a fantasy he made up.

“We found each other for the first time, and I realized that I’m even more in love with her than I thought.”

“Sometimes I just still can’t believe I get to look into your eyes. There’s not one time I’ve looked into them that I haven’t thought about how lucky I am to be able to do that.”

“I love you, Luca. From now until eternity.”

Luca finds an old unopened letter from her childhood pen pal Griffin while cleaning out her dads apartment. After many years of no communication, she decides to write him back and the two begin to form a new kind of relationship.

This book was funny, dirty, and heartwarming. The character development in this story was top notch! This is a rockstar romance/friends to lovers trope.

3.5 stars...this was cute, but I felt like there was something missing. The time between them reuniting after 10 years to insta-love felt a bit quick for me and it made the rest harder to buy. But I did enjoy it and the narration of the audiobook is great.

Vi Keeland is one of my favorite Authors. Her books always have a way of making me laugh out loud and this one was different. I loved this book and the Audiobook narration between Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt is pure perfection These two are my favorite Audiobook narrators.
