This story hit a little weird for me. One second Georgia has moved with her daughter to a small town due to an inheritance of the farmhouse, the next she's dating (not entirely of her will) the local sheriff. The next thing you know there is a ton of crime in the small town, and she is in the mix of it. There wasn't a build up to the new relationship, it just happened. The book is long enough we could have had more on the way to the romance, it just read really weird to me.
