Lots of action and drama! I remembered the plot of this volume from the anime but it was still fun to read. The manga moves much faster than the anime, so even when Usagi or Chibiusa annoyed me, it wasn’t as bad. I also think that the manga did a better job of making them feel more nuanced. I really liked the last part of the book which
Spoilerdelved more into Chibiusa’s past. I also liked the middle where Usagi and Mamori reaffirmed their relationship. The art was very pretty.
4 stars.

This volume is definitely where the plot thickens and picks up!
I loved the plot twists (even if I saw them coming) really enjoying reading this for the first time!
I can’t wait to see what happens with Chibi-Usa and the rest of sailor moon and her guardians!

The fourth volume and the stealing of senshi continues as in this one Sailor Jupiter gets kidnapped. But thankfully that stops when our crew heads to the future and meet themselves (which must be quite a shock). I do have questions. Chibi-Usa knows darn well that Usagi is her mom, she knows that stealing the silver crystal WON'T work, why does she do it then? Why does she keep interfering? Also, it seems that Chibi-Usa just loves stealing stuff from people, especially her mom. We learn how things went wrong and wow. Girl, you are 900 years old, get over it and learn a bit. Dumb brat. Plus, how did Mamo and Usagi not know that Chibi-Usa was their child? It was quite obvious. :P There are also some other things that had me wondering. Plot holes? There is a sweet sweet scene between Mamo and Usagi that had me squeeing in delight. I loved that Usagi is really growing, becoming more mature and caring. She did some very brave things in this book that I just adored. There is Dark Moon awesomeness, and a lot of creepiness (that kiss and that forcing upon Sailor Moon had me not happy). The art was once again gorgeous.

I’ll never forgive the anime creators for whitewashing Sailor Pluto…

Seeing Usagi's and Mamo's relationship grow and develop makes me wanna squeal in excitement. But I'm gonna do that on my own time. Season 2 was definitely my favorite out of the 4 I've seen so far. And I love time traveling so everything about it had me hooked. I did find the book very plot-based and didn't leave a lot of room for the reader to get to know the characters more. It was a lot of fighting and fighting...and fighting.

Usagi is 16 now (wow, how did all those years went by so fast!) and while she did mature a bit, she still retain that childish jealousy. She did realized it, so that was a good thing. But I expected more from her age.

I really liked seeing the introduction of another Sailor Guardian. I really liked this over the last book in this series, and I can't wait to find out what happens next...because it did leave on a cliffhanger. Now that I think about it, I already know what's gonna happen but it's still fun to read about it!
