I just got bored with it. Cool premise and the characters were fun but about halfway through it got a little out of control and I just skipped to the end. Which I don’t even remember

I read this so spread out, so can’t give a full rating - I don’t think it would be fair on it to judge it lower as when I did read it I always enjoyed.

“Beauty is just like a book. Some will not bother to look beyond the cover; others will find the entire tome utterly captivating.”

Such an unexpected gem! I needed a Kindle Unlimited book with Audible Audio to hold me over until I get my next Audible credits - this one fit the bill and had an interesting description.

Oh my goodness, I LOVED this! It was charming and had me smiling the entire way through. I can't wait for the second book in April!

The plot is pretty predictable, but the author makes it entertaining enough along the way that I didn’t mind. There is some chuckle-worthy humor, and overall really charming storytelling.

I felt satisfied at the end of the story so I’m not in a hurry to read the next book but I will probably happily pick up others in the series when I’m looking for something to read in the future.
