i gave this book a five out of five because i don’t think i’ve ever read such a creative book. this author did an amazing job with imagery and metaphors and her style of writing simply captivated me. i truly believe i could talk about this book forever.

That first I found the book very boring and slow, but as the story progressed it became easier and more satisfying to read.

Such an amazing book - and if you're on the fence about whether or not to pick it up, all I can say is this: READ. IT. I can promise you that there won't be any regrets.

(Self-portrait: Person feeling ALL of the emotions reading a book)
I acquired this book on a whim when I saw it in my audible suggestions and liked the name and cover - and I'm so glad I found it! I've never read/listened to a book stringing words together like this. The stories' secrets are thrilling and heartbreaking, full of loss and love. For me the metaphorical language really worked and as somebody who also paints in their head, I looooved Noahs POV. I highly recomment the audiobook read by Julia Whelan and Jesse Bernstein!
