Junie B. Is adorable as ever when she signs up to be in the halftime show for the first grade kickball tournament. Originally, she was going to play in the tournament, but after a cow kicking accident, she is convinced to be in the halftime show with her friend, Sheldon. Junie B. Decides that she is going to juggle in the show, but she has to learn how first! I've always loved Junie B.'s wit and perseverance and this book was no different.

I absolutely love reading these books with my daughter. We both laugh until we have tears and share so many special moments over these books. It gives us so many opportunities to talk about good behaviors and choices versus not so great behaviors and choices. We have great conversations about what characters she’d be friends with and how she would react in the many different scenarios. All of the reviews complaining about behaviors has clearly never interacted with a group of small children as all of this is common. It’s a good opportunity to have conversations with your children and there are SO many giggles to be had.

Let's face it, there are some books you read to your children that, as a parent, bore you to the point where you want to bang your head against the wall. This is not one of those books. Junie B. Jones is hilarious, and my first grader LOVES all of these stories. Barbara Park was a truly brilliant person.

What does the tooth fairy do with the teeth after you lose them? Guess you have to read Junie B. in order to find out. Her answer to this question is pretty adorable. I have loved reading Junie B., First Grader with my kids. They love them and laugh at all the right spots. It is pretty adorable. Brings back fun memories of me loving them when I was younger.
