Even that ending is not enough to make me continue on with the series. It is very confusing, with proper exposition, and too much is happening at the same time.

Really, really nice artwork. Story at times a little chaotic, 'weird' sentences/syntax, but again: really nice artwork.

Well I LOVE THE COLORS AND DRAWINGS!! The plot was quite confusing at times, but at the same time it was really cool! I look forward to continuing the series! The portraits of the issues are really stunning *heart eyes*

I put in a hold on this so long ago I'd completely forgotten about it by the time it was available. I love the art and the ending. I'll be continuing for sure.

A really interesting start to a potentially awesome comic series about gods being reborn into humans.

I think I read this last year in a drunken, breakup haze and totally forgot about it. Picked it up to read again and was like "....wait a minute...." - not going to re-read. It really isn't worth it.
Trying to pull on a lot of "cool" strings right now and just, not hitting any actual marks.
The artwork is OK, but nothing beautiful or creative or interesting in particular. NO character is likable, and all are ciphers - kind of literally - for mythological figures (and, I suspect, veiled disses on real pop stars, but so unreadable no one cares). Everything is shifting so fast there's barely a plot.
Whenever I read this, it must have been after about Nov. 15 when Ren moved out. I distinctly recall lying alone in bed and reading it. I bought both volumes 1 and 2 at once, so I'm literally going to copy+paste this entire review into Vol. 2 in 10 seconds.

Overall a fun (and quick) read, with a couple really good characters. Obviously there's more to the story, and hopefully that will better flesh out the characters not given their due here.

Oh my god(s)! I love this!
The whole "Just because you're immortal, doesn't mean you're going to live forever" thing didn't click until the very end and now my brain is doing backflips (in like, a good way).
At first I thought it was kinda weird how Laura was like a bystander to everything but the ending (that twist!) made it make sense.
I was trying to avoid spoilers but fuck it, I have theories.
I don't know if this was supposed to be super clear or if I'm just an idiot, or whatever. BUT it looks like Luci did follow through on her promise. Which leads me to a question, did that old lady —sorry, I forgot her name— kill Luci for real and the powers/godliness just passed onto Laura? Or did Luci plan passing her powers on since the beginning to escape the whole 90 year thing (she did say she understood things differently than the others)? I'm betting on the latter because that would fit in with the title —making the old lady one of the wicked—. Which, I mean, you can't blame me for thinking. The old lady gives off creep vibes. Also, who tf says ily before murdering someone (certainly not someone sane, that's for sure).
And I know it's probably a stretch, but I hope Luci comes back to life in some way. They did stress the importance of their relationship (and she's my favorite) so I'm holding out hope.
Also, —this is probably annoying but— that ending
