the first part was addictive and so good but the second part was kind of meh. ren was great just a little too possessive for my liking, I wish he let ember become more independent instead of relying on him all the time.

“All I’ve known is hell, but I find heaven in your lips.” 🖤

This book is definitely not everyone’s cup of ☕️ it is very dark. I found the interactions between Ember + Ren to be clever and there was a whole lotta spice 🌶 As the story moved on, I felt more and more that I was rooting for them to be together. You definitely fall for these characters even though they are kinda crazy 😄

The plot was terrible. Both of the  clearly hated each other used weird sexual acts to try to get at the other. There is a whole plot about her step uncle being in love with her and holding a sex tape over her head. It reached a breaking point for me when they accused the main guy of rape and stealing a diamond then time jumping
