It was a slow start for me but then I got much more into it, I think I like the characters more in this than FBAA. I did enjoy it but not sure I’ll continue on with the series and FBAA

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. THIS IS WHY I READ FANTASY. This book right here. This AUTHOR right here. I cannot even explain how beautiful this book was. And call me a bad bookworm, but it took me about half the book to realize this was connected to From Blood and Ash...I know that's so embarrassing to even admit but it's true. My excuse is that I've read many many books in between these two series. I'm so tempted to read the series again after this because I'm so enthralled with this fantasy world and I remember loving those books so much I think it would be amazing to tie them all together.
It's really hard to create a fantasy world and not confuse the read or overwhelm them, it takes a tremendous amount of talent to do that. This book had everything and more that I could ask for. The characters were loving, the world building was beautiful, the realm politics was just perfect, and it was so sexy. Not to mention, this book was pretty damn long!! And I LOVED that. I love love love love love long books. AND THE ENDING??? MY JAW WAS ON THE FLOOR I FELT NOTHING BUT PURE SHOCK. Especially with the prophecy at the end???? How is Jennifer L. Armentrout so damn creative and intelligent. I just can't it was all so beautiful. I'm in awe of this entire world they have built.

The beginning was dragging for me and then we get to the Shadowlands and it’s like I didn’t want to put it down.

Teniendo en cuenta que casi no consigo acabar el dichoso libro de Una corona de huesos dorados, me encontraba muy decepcionada con la saga en sí, pero gracias a este he conseguido reconectar con la autora.
No tengo palabras de lo que ha supuesto este libro… Cuando creía que me resultaría imposible que algún personaje me gustase tanto como Cassian, llega Nyktos y me desmonta todo.
Sera y Nyktos me gustan MUCHO más que Poppy y Casteel. No coincido para nada con aquellos que dicen que la historia es la misma, claramente comparten ciertos aspectos, cosa que tampoco creo que sea inintencionado, pero no tienen nada que ver. Esta historia me ha enganchado muchísimo más que la principal, el mundo mágico (el que se muestra concretamente en este libro) se explica de una manera más sencilla e hilada y es de agradecer… Jenni, por favor, deja de inventarte tanto nombre y tanto ser mágico porque no me da la mente para más información
