I've only just finished reading this.
I will gather my thoughts and write a more detailed review shortly. Meanwhile,  Students of acting will get a lot out of this book. There's a lot of detailed theory on the craft of acting, especially in the first half of the book. Very interesting.

Karen's time on Little House starting from page 173 is fair and balanced writing. Karen had a rough time of it for those 8 years.
This has been acknowledged by others.

Karen's childhood is detailed. Her father's struggle with alcoholism, and later her own recovery from same disease.

She is a deep person. Spiritual. Introverted. A thinker. I find I really like her.
I think writing this memoir was a healing experience.

My only downside is it ends abruptly after her second marriage.
Briefly mentioning the decades since the 1980's. I am left wondering if this is part one of a two part memoir? If so I look forward to part two!
Contains several black and white photos.
4 and a half stars.
