Quick book with amazing dialogue and interesting concept on marriage and counseling. I can see why this is turned into a show. Feels like reading a play.

i am still trying to understand if i like this book or not, it's very much a love/hate relationship.

i mean, she cheats on her husband with the same man 4 times and spends the entire book blaming it on him?? yeah, its a no for me.

SpoilerQuite short, and just: okay. Harmless. Nice to have a relaxed conversation on longterm relationships I guess? Nick Hornby is good at books, I think.

Nick Hornby is the master of writing relationships. This very real look at a marriage is both honest and funny.

The book is easy to read, the story and the characters are relatable and there is no shortage of quite amusing dialogs.
However, in my opinion it could’ve used a bit more depth and character development at certain points.

3,5/Hornby knows how to write real, contemporary people who completely fucked up in their lives and interpersonal relationships and now they are trying to build themselves from the ground up.
