Sweet and tragic
Shepard's story about the Tower 4 incident, though it's not "mind blowing" it is interesting. He gives those who have lost their lives in the event faces and stories, which is beautiful. My favorite thing about it was the writing style, it's very modernist and the story is told as if it's one long thought. If the story is ordinary, the writing makes it beautiful.

Don't skip the editor's note at the start. Contains some crucial context that might have allowed me to appreciate the story more. Based on true events, a tense but insightful read. Have to say, the title is the best/most impactful line in this short story.
