The Secret, the third book in the wildly entertaining Winslow Brothers series by my favorite duo, Max Monroe, is a hilarious, sexy and forbidden teacher/TA romantic comedy full of back and forth banter, one-upmanship and sizzling chemistry. This book was so much fun! I loved Rachel and Ty together. From their first interaction you could feel their connection. Some of their antics and the games they played were so outrageous and funny. I chuckled the most with Rachel's stubbornness and absolute refusal to acknowledge meeting Ty beforehand.

A side story to the romance was Rachel's strained relationship with her father. She has a rebellious streak especially when it comes to him. I really enjoyed seeing her stand up for control and for what she wanted.

I am seriously loving these Winslow Brothers books. They just keep getting better and better. With all of Ty's charm and playfulness, I had him pegged as my favorite brother before this series started. Now that I've read his book I adore him even more. If I wasn't so in love with Flynn, he'd definitely be my number 1. I can’t wait to read Remy’s book next.

I really enjoyed this third book in the Winslow Brothers series!! I've been waiting for it to come out on audio and it was definitely worth the wait! A steamy, dual POV, forbidden romance between English Lit Professor, Ty and Grad student TA, Rachel. The sexual tension between these two was off the charts and once they get together the sheets really heat up but her dad's the Dean and does not want them together. Lots of cameos from other characters in the series and a ton of fun literary references too. Recommended for fans of authors like Kayley Loring, Vi Keeland and Piper Rayne. Now to wait for the fourth book on audio coming later this month!

Steam level: R-rated (some backdoor action)

Giving your panties to a stranger is one way to get his attention, having your father be his supervisor and you his new TA is another. So when Ty and Rachael find themselves working together their first encounter becomes a game and their relationship stays a secret. But with all things that are supposed to stay hush hush, their romance gets known. Can they survive the backlash that the university and her father might place on them? Or will love know no bounds? This story was a joy to read form beginning to end. Three down and one more Winslow brother left - I cannot wait for the next in the series.

Steamy, funny, swoony.. this series did not disappoint in the SPICE department and each book had its own unique tropes. If I’m completely honest, they did start to feel a little repetitive, listened to one after the other, but this didn’t particularly bother me because they’re just so FUN + SPICY.

The chemistry is off the charts through all three plots.. In THE BET, we follow Jude and Sophie, whose connection felt authentic from the second they met at the casino. THE PACT sees Flynn, the dark and brooding brother, come out of his shell for Daisy + together they had such a genuine bond that only turned stronger over time, and THE SECRET brings us Ty and Rachel whose workplace (forbidden) romance really was NSFW 🙌🏽

The trademark humour + banter between the brothers was flawlessly done. Max and Monroe have created a brotherhood so tight-knit, authentic + hilarious, they kinda feel like they’re your own.

Although these can be read as stand-alones, I’d highly recommend reading the series— 1) because they’re super fun, 2) so you can get to know the backgrounds of all the characters and 3) so the brothers’ group chat + banter (the best bit IMO) makes sense!

Max Monroe has done it again! They have delivered one hell of deliciously entertaining and super steamy read! Did I mention steamy? These Winslow brothers are something else and with every installment, it’s getting harder to choose a favorite brother. This baby has a little of everything:

The Winslow Brothers do not disappoint. Playboy Ty meets his match in this fun and spicy read by Max Monroe! There is also a bakery cat named Matilda so what’s not to love?

Rachel was by far my favorite character in this book! Bold, sassy and didn’t let anything or anyone get in her way.

Definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!

3,5⭐️ bom e rápido de ler só não dei 4 por motivos de :

1-ela “fugindo” no final???
2-tinha horas que eles pareciam adolescentes
3-Declaração de amor em público (ainda mais na frente da família me da vergonha alheia
4- “I just read a Colleen Hoover book”

Forbidden romance with a fit professor and a fiery, curvy TA.

Ty and Rachel have a random meet cute in a club where Rachel picks a card and has to approach the best-looking man in the club. Her eyes land on Ty and as she likes to live up to people's expectations she doesn't just approach and dance with Ty, she leaves him a nice present. Her knickers.

Little do either of them know that Ty is Rachel's professor doing a favour for her father who wants to see Rachel get back on track with her studies.

Their attraction to each other is instant and seeing them both navigating this awkward interaction after the meet-cute is hilarious and cringe-worthy. Rachel isn't one to shy away though and it's great to see her be so confident in her body and own who she is. Ty embraces the confidence and even though everything in her body says no he just can't deny the attraction he has towards Rachel.

Seeing all the Winslows together always brings a good laugh and Max Monroe writes about such good family interactions. They all have quirks and it makes it so much more heart warming when they all come together in a time of need.

I cannot wait to read the final book!

I loved Ty and Rachel but I’ll start off by saying that Ty didn’t jump ahead of Flynn or Jude in my favorites list. I was expecting that, truly and though Ty’s great, his book had just enough Jude to make me want more Jude plus second-guess if Flynn is truly my favorite. And it had almost no Flynn so I really wanted more Flynn. This story gives us more Remy than we’ve had in the other books though, so that’s something. Rachel and Ty are fun and both a little crazy. I enjoyed the games they played and their ability to one-up each other because there’s nothing more important in a relationship than being able to knock your true love down a peg every now and then to keep him on his toes. Seriously. Follow me for more life pro tips. But I digress.

These two are goofy and playful but still super steamy and full of heart, not to mention hilarious. I couldn’t put this one down and can’t wait for Remy’s story.
