My favorite volume so far in the Blacksad collection. I really loved the plot.

Les images sont toujours magnifiques. L'ambiance polar noir me plaît vraiment beaucoup.

The first volume's breathtaking artwork is continued in this tale of racial strife in the anthropomorphic American South. The plot's a bit more complex than the first (with shades of Ellroy!) so we're definitely seeing a majorly talented artist hone the shit outta their craft.

Surprisingly, comic relief weasel/fox (?) Weekly is a very adorable addition.
