Even though it talks about very difficult topics, I think that the lack of depth makes it a bit difficult to sympathize with the characters. It came across really staged when very dark topics came up. And reactions were often a bit over the top and confusing for the character. The plot twists weren‘t surprising at all.

I really liked Kaden. I'm exited to read more about Spencer and Dawn! The ending was not what I expected :( it resolved so quickly that I felt unsatisfied after I finished it.
