*Thank you to @NetGalley for the ARC!*

I’ll be totally honest, this was not my favorite. It’s a reverse harem so our FMC has multiple love interests and the four of them are in one big poly relationship. Now I’ll say this, if you’re here for the smut, you’ll love this book. But if you’re here for a combo of romance and smut, you might wanna pass on this one. The plot made me think of your stereotypical bad porno where the acting is just horrible and the plot is only there to lead the characters to sexy time.

Insta-love and insta-lust are not my thing - and this book is mostly lust. We see our FMC “fall in love” with her men without having any substantial (or at least not on page) conversations or connections with them and the majority of their relationship is sex and tying to solve the issues they’re faced with. At one point, literally in the span of an hour the FMC and one of the guys go from “I loathe your existence” to “fine, I’ll tolerate you” to “I’m in love with you” WITHIN AN HOUR

I wasn’t too sure how to rate this. I feel like I was perhaps slightly disappointed because I’d heard great things on TikTok about it.
If all you are looking for is fantasy spice, then this is the book for you, it’s absolutely fab for that. I did enjoy it. But if you want a deeper plot then maybe steer away.
I think the storyline had good potential, if you were to summarise the actual story is fun. But it was a lot of repetition and telling. I think Part one of this book could have been it’s own individual novel that spans 500 pages, rather than being less than 200 and really rushing through.
So for this reason I give it 3 stars. Love the spice, wish there was far more story and plot
