Great book! Reese had an abusive past, and she didn't do friendship with men. She had escaped her past and she was living an acceptable life, cleaning houses in Rosemary Beach. Mase Manning was visiting Harlow at Rosemary Beach, staying at his father's house, where Nan also lived. Nan was in Paris so he thought he could have peace to sleep his jet lag, but he woke up to a racket instead. Sounds of vacuuming and loud off-key singing. When he came out of the room, he found beautiful Reese, love at first sight! It was a beautiful love story, how Mase slowly courted Reese, overcoming her hangups about her abusive past and convincing her she was his world. Loved how sweet and patient he was, how clearly he was gone on her, protective and possesive, yum! Loved reading about the rest of the gang in Rosemary, even if so briefly and loved how Reese opened up to love, like a flower blooming. It was beautiful to see an abused woman come to understand that she is worthy and loved. There were conflicts, of course, since otherwise the book would have been too cheesy. I even tolerated the too frequent sex scenes, LOL. Nan makes her appearance adding her coat of vinegar and Mase's past rears up its head, causing huge problems. All in all, a very entertaining book, and I can't believe the author is making me wait two months for the second part! This is too long

I really liked Mase and Reese but wanted so much more. The entire storyline felt rushed and moved too quickly. I am optimistic the follow-up will be better.

I enjoyed Mase and Reese together. Their story was beautiful and Mase was a great Alpha male with the right amount of sweetness to prevent him from being a complete a-hole like some of the NA romances I've read. The ending was a total cliffhanger and I hated that. Why introduce that topic in the last page of the book? Hmph.

I have to admit that I liked Mase since the beginning. He deserved his own book and his girl is everything I could’ve ever imagined. I like how she handled everything even though life was hard on her. She didn’t complained, she just took what she had and managed to make a life with it. As for Mase, he’s a dream. I’m so excited for the second book! I’m starting it today!

This was so freaking cute! I honestly thought it was going to be a shamble of a book like Grant and Harlow's story, but Abbi Glines worked her magic and gave me a compelling read. I love Reese so much, she's so unlike the other girls. And Mase? I want him for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All day, every day.
