I picked this up on a whim as the concept of the vampire having been asleep since the 1980s and waking up in present day intrigued me. I liked the contrast between Julian and Thea’s characters and Julian’s grumpy resistance to technology. The plot was interesting and didn’t settle for all of the usual vampire traits.
I very much enjoyed the Phantom of the Opera link. And the nice dose of spiciness didn’t do any harm either. Hadn’t realised it was a series until I was about 3/4 of the way through, so looking forward to them being delivered.

DUDE. Dude. This was so much fun!! All I can say is that if you like grumpy sunshine, mates, vampires, or fake dating this is for you. I don’t have time to say anything else because I already own book two and I need to read it right now!

Too much sex and weak FMC, too much happens in about a weeks time, not a fan of the instant love as it’s not believable, irrational FMC and borderline abusive MMC, characters actions are inconsistent a lot of the time.

I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own opinions.

I firmly believe that Filthy Rich Vampire has put me in a thrawl. By the end of the first chapter, I was hooked and sneaking in some reading whenever I had a second.

This book is a wonderful mix of romance, action, and banter that kept me entertained throughout every chapter.

The only downfall is that it ends with a Clifford hanged, I need to know what happens next.

Really liked this one a lot!

The characters are quite lovable, and I found the writing just really enjoyable to read! Read this one super fast as well, and can't wait to start the next book.

Pacing is ok here, though it's a little heavy with lore and other vampire culture information towards the end. I did like the way it starts though. The chemistry between the characters is fun to read as well (she calls him "old man", he calls her "pet", and he is endearingly out of touch with the modern world...)

Slight warning that there is some miscommunication; not a horrible amount, but the trope is there. Spice is light but enjoyable (would say 1.5/5), I liked the slow-ish burn of it.

Overall: will continue reading, really enjoyed the style of the book and I also like the characters and their banter.
