This first issue was so awesome! I cannot wait to read the next one! The art is perfect for this story and so far this is an excellent graphic adaption of the original.

I'm Torn: some parts were so nice, others were totally wrong.
I liked the little hint to Noomi (who place Lisbeth in the swedish movie), the parts about the murders that are woven into the story are great, many charachters are drawn very much like I imagine them and he ends the first part well.
BUT
He portrays Lisbeth much angrier than in the book, could have spend a lot more effert into the dragon tattoo on Lisbeth's back: this barely looks like a dragon, he also leaves out all the sex (just hints to it), the bridge to the island looks much too small (nit picking I know, but still) and the last page about Nils B is a little weird: it looks like he's regretting his rape (and not just because of his pain and unfortunate tattooing, but because he suddenly think he's wrong).

3,5 stars I guess, and because I love Millennium so much, I'll give 4.

Formidabile.
