I was able to plow through the childish language of the first book, however this second book just has some incredibly outlandish suggestion that Gaston and the prince could have even been friends before the transformation! The 3 witch sisters are incredibly annoying and do not fit in at all this is not a Disney book at all

I enjoy this take on the prince's life before Belle. This was the second book in the series and I really love how they are tying all the stories together. I feel like the stories are done so perfectly and not straying too far away from the original stories but offering more insight we didn't previously have!
Definitely recommend this retelling!

Can't wait to read the next book!
