Based on the previous books in this series, I knew going in that there probably would be some heavy topics, but this felt like so many heavy topics all at once. Regardless, I loved their story. To me the ending didn’t really live up to the hype of the first 80%. I also wanted more epilogue. I feel like Grace wasn’t in it enough in the end, and the happy ending wasn’t long enough I wanted more!

This sweet romance novel ended up being a beautiful exploration of living your life to the fullest, no matter how much of it you think you might have left. It also grapples with how to deal with the possibility that your partner may die of a terminal illness, and the toll that anticipatory grief can have on both partners. It doesn't sound like fodder for a romance novel, but Jimenez's characters are happy,, vivacious, and inspiring - you want to root for their romance from the very beginning. I was slightly disappointed by the ending, but you know it's going to be a happily ever after, so there are only so many ways this story can go!

This is a wonderful romance set in the same world as The Friend Zone and Happy Ever After Playlist. Vanessa is a travel vlogger who has unexpectedly taken custody of her newborn niece, but even that isn't as unexpected as her super hot neighbor Adrian showing up to help her out one night when the baby won't stop crying. Their relationship builds really slowly and wonderfully throughout the book.

This does have a HEA, though the book definitely makes you doubt it at times. I do wish the ending had been longer. I would have loved more of the last chapter and epilogue, but it's a wonderful romance that, like all Jimenez's novels, made me laugh and cry.
