Wow, imagine setting off to get revenge for your mom and then being too much of a wimp to actually do it.

Bringing it weak.

The ending of this story was so abrupt. All of the characters were very one-dimensional so it was hard to concentrate sometimes. The plot itself was intriguing and I found Victor to be an interesting enigma. The name changes with Lydia were a bit confusing at first but I found that part of the plot to be the most interesting. All of these characters are awful and I hope I never meet anyone like them.

this book had no ending. it was anticlimactic and I basically just wasted my time reading 300 pages about a girl who wanted to kill some other people but chickened out in the end like cmon

I should've just dnf'd this, the ending was one of the most unsatisfying endings I've ever read, the 'romance' was not needed and the book as a whole was just boring.

this book was not good, it had potential at the start. the characters were unlikeable and the revenge sucked bc she didn’t carry out with her original plan (and she got caught)

While I didn't think the writing was particularly good, I did read this book in one sitting so that says something! I was a little worried I'd be disappointed but I liked how it ended! I could honestly see this being a series similar to the Heist Society books by Ally Carter. I'd read more books about Shannon's shenanigans.
