This entire series has permanently changed my brain chemistry and how I view Sci-fi / Fantasy forever! Out of the current three in the series, this one is the one in which I felt less confused, and I felt like I knew more or less what was going on most of the time. Amazing, adorable characters all around, both new and old faces (wink wink...), with Muir's very signature humor as expected. The beginning almost feels like a sitcom -in an apocalyptic setting mind you- but a coming-of-age, found family sitcom nonetheless. And then it escalates SO quickly, and the ending happened, and HOLY JOD!!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!? I wish I had the proper words to describe just how great this book is, but I'm quite literally left speechless. So all I'll say is that I love Nona, and Nona loves you too <3

I am actually in love with this book and this cast. Phyrra, Cam, Palamedes and Nona were a wonderful little family. Even the slow, domestic parts were great. I would pay to read about this little family's day to day life.
This one was definitely less confusing than Harrow the Ninth and easier to follow.
The ending had me sobbing I literally cannot wait for Alecto the First

Comme précédemment, la première lecture laisse un goût totalement différent des relectures. Je l’ai trouvé gnangnan tout d’abord par rapport à GtN et finalement, c’est mon préféré. Nona aime tout le monde 🩷

This is the third installment of The Locked Tomb series and you should definitely not start here if you're new to the series.
Since it's the third book, it's hard to talk about because anything I say would be wading into spoiler territory, but Nona is a new character we haven't met before and no one knows exactly who she is but it's highly likely she's one of, or a combination of, two people and a large part of the book surrounds events concerning Nona and who she is and how she can help various groups achieve what they want.
This book has a different feel from the others (frankly they all feel different from each other, it's very interesting) and it takes place on a new planet called New Rho and we're introduced to another level of things - there are 4 groups who are all involved (Blood of Eden, the Lyctors, House and then just civilians) and the dynamics were very interesting to read about.
I loved all the characters but particularly Pal and Cam (as always) and Pyrrha.
We also get to learn about John's backstory which definitely puts a lot of things into perspective.
And the ending was wild.
Definitely looking forward to the fourth installment when it comes out!
