This one was okay. It provided Amber with some backstory and some setting materials about the rebel base. It also introduced who appears to be the chief antagonist. I still don't like the heavy-handed, hokey Canadian references.

The first issue was intriguing. This issue builds up some suspense and tension. Reading issue to issue is just different. I have a feeling that anyone that reads this planned 6 issue series in collected form will have a different feel because they'll be able to power through. There's a bit more backstory for the protagonist in this issue. Character interactions are the focus. The Canadianisms are also quite entertaining as well. BKV's latest series is enjoyable.
