I don't understand Math and half of this story is about Math so it just flies by through my brain. I don't have any idea what it's talking about lol.

It was fine. Pretty straightforward story about daddy issues through the lens of math and academia with a touch of sci-fi. Not sure I understand why this one is so popular.
