At first I had a hard time getting into this book in the beginning since he kinda just dumps you in. The first 50 and last 50 pages were hard just because I was confused but the whole middle of the book was amazing, so I’m glad I stuck around. The vibes were immaculate, the romance was surprisingly spectacular, and the footnotes, while I hateddd them during the first 50 pages, I actually really loved them by the end? The author really seamlessly tied in the two stories and the narrator person was kind of adorable and precious. His ex was the worst,
very unsupportive of his undiagnosed OCD like damn, boo, hiss
. I loved the profanity and how graphic it was. I felt like it really added to the story.

Such a unique book, I am so glad my book club picked it! I took off .25 stars for how confused I was towards the end lmfaooo but it was very good, highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this book. It surprised me over and over. I really enjoyed the use of the footnote as another aspect of the story, and wish I could have delved more deeply into what was going on there. Would definitely recommend.
