Still loving this

Really enjoying the development of these characters. It doesn't have that feeling of being made up on the spot or overly contrived like a lot of similar books. Probably gonna read through until the end.

Fantastic.

Nikole really knows how to take the reader through ALL the emotions!
Everything from laughing out loud to crying my eyes out, gasping in horror, to downright swooning.

The character development is immaculate, I love Riley so much- and seeing him grow and learn is fantastic.

This is the SLOWEST burn- but things are heating up and I am here for it!

Can’t wait to get started on book 3- this is already shaping up to be one of my all time favourite series

Things are heating up, both in their attraction to each other and the plot!!
These books are dark tho, so be aware of that. One moment you enjoy a moment between them, the next your read about vile things that break your heart...

Couldn't put it down! I enjoyed this one much more than the first. Less mundane college life, more high-stakes fantasy and adventure. Riley finally gains some confidence in himself. I also really like that the angels have separate lives and relationships, and don't just spend the entire book coddling Riley. A very dysfunctional, yet lovable family. I'm still not completely sold on the romance, but it's still being developed, so I'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
