Friends marry very young to protect her once her father dies unexpectedly. SHe overhears his parents saying that it was a terrible mistake and she runs away. Ten years later, he tracks her down and asks that she come back to London to prove that he is married. Typical, hurt feelings and fear leads to more misunderstanding that they finally work out.

Kind of a cute story. I didn't really like either character and didn't quite understand the motivation right at the end. It seemed ridiculous just to lead the reader astray one last time.
