No synopsis needed. You know this one. 

What I liked:

• I wanted something creepy for spooky season and wow, this delivers. 
• I've always been too chicken to watch the whole movie so I didn't know the whole story
• There’s a lot more going on than pea soup and spinning heads (def disturbing though)
• The author is an amazing narrator. Seriously, get the audio.

What I didn't like:

• Story slowed down a little toward the end

If not scary, this book is surely disturbing. 
Overall, the conversations between the priests and the alleged demon are what makes The Exorcist works so well.

Finally got around to reading this and definitely found it to be disturbing and can understand why it has been so controversial. The writing/dialogue does feel a little dated so that was interesting to navigate but I did enjoy it and it creeped me out.
